GF, here is what the twit of the year actually said:

"If we do not reach a deal at this time, let us be in no doubt: once the damage from unchecked emissions growth is done, no retrospective global agreement, in some future period, can undo that choice.

"So we should never allow ourselves to lose sight of the catastrophe we face if present warming trends continue."

This moronic quote despite the FACT that the global climate has been cooling this entire decade. That is an undeniable fact so for him to say that they need to come up with a carbon reduction agreement in the next 50 days or face "catastrophe" is completely ludicrous and asinine. There is no way for your characterization of his comments to be correct. Sorry.......
