Admitting something is unconstitutional and doing it anyway. So Dementia Joe is planning to get smacked down again by SCOTUS for the eviction moratorium. Imagine that, the President telling a private citizen that they cannot enforce a legally binding contract that is not even subject Federal jurisdiction as it is intrastate commerce. He literally is being run by fascists that think the laws don't apply to them. And yes, fascism applies as this is the government trampling on the rights of the individual.
What he doesn't get is that he is not helping anyone. The landlords are being ruined financially as are the tenants that combined have wracked up over $2B in back rent that they will owe for the rest of their lives or have to declare bankruptcy to avoid. A better option would be to incentivize them into living arrangements they can afford or incentivize them to get their a$$es back to work so they can pay their rent. But no, they prefer to give them a free ride.
