Maj....not sure this was so much an expectation on my part as it was just a fear about something that could happen. I do know that the police, through no fault of their own, do accidently shoot people in the fog of a crisis situation. So I wasn't saying this to criticize the police in the least. In fact, if it did happen, while tragic it would be completely understandable. It just occured to me as a what if scenario that thankfully did not happen. But police officers are not superhuman despite all their training and they do make mistakes in pressure packed situations. Thankfully not often....but they do happen.
