There were actually a large number of terrorist attacks pre-911 under Clinton's watch, all of which were related to Islamo-terrorist organizations. To name a few: Khobar Towers, 1993 bombing of the WTC, bombing of the USS Coles in Yemen, etc. And that's just U.S. interests. Many, many more targeting European and Middle Eastern countries. It is remarkable that there have been no significant terrorist attacks in the U.S. in 7 years and to say the Bush Administration does not deserve credit would belie partisan blindness. If you don't like Bush that's fine. These days it puts you in good company. But he does deserve kudos for that one fact.
