So long Arlen, you will no longer be the useful idiot RINO giving Dems cover with your vote. As usual the mainstream media is wrong as they want to cast Specter as a "moderate" Republican. He is a liberal in sheep's clothing and has always been a liberal. Also laughable is his rationale for changing parties. He knew he had no support from Republicans in the primary and was headed to defeat to Toomey. Now we can have Toomey coast to victory in the Republican primary and watch the food fight on the Dem side.

My prediction is as follows: Toomey wins the Republican primary easily. Specter, no longer of any use to the Dem's, loses the Dem primary. Specter decides to run as an Independent ala Lieberman and splits the Dem vote. Toomey wins......

Either way conservatives win because we no longer have to bear Dem's having cover for their awful lawmaking by garnering votes from the RINO Specter. Now it will be interesting to see if his "principaled" vote against card check gets reversed as he panders to big labor.....this one is a gimme.....of course he will "see the light", now that he is no longer shackled to the Republican party.
