With regard to the language, you are very lucky or you taught them very well. I'm appalled at the language I hear coming out of kids mouths around adults -- but then when I'm around the adults, I guess I know why they talk that way.

I remember when I was young (about 8) I said damn in front of my mother and she grabbed up a bar of yellow laundry soap that was in my grandmother's kitchen and literally washed my mouth out. Even today, there are words I wouldn't dream of using in front of my father (not that I curse much anyway)

My grandmother told me when I was very young that if I said a bad word that a dragonfly would come by and sew up my lips. LOL, I'm still very careful around dragon flies; I don't believe it, but why take the chance?
