I was watching the coverage of the President's visit to Dayton and to El Paso.  Funny, CNN couldn't find anyone to interview but Democratic politicans and protestors. Surely there were people there that support the President.  Oh and one person, only described as wearing a MAGA hat was speaking in front of the memorial crosses was condemned by the CNN reporter as "no place to make this a political event".  CNN is so far to the left that they have almost eclipsed themselves.  

I was glad to hear Trump say today that a ban of ARs won't be happening as there is no political appetite for that.  100% background checks is on the table and I don't see anyone being against that.  Of course the Left is blaming the NRA.  Frankly, I don't think that the NRA is nearly as powerful as the left thinks.  The left doesn't account for the number of gun owners and hunters in this country who speak to their legislators.  Additionally, there are all those gun manufactuers, gun part manufactuers, etc that hope to keep their jobs in a country where so much manufacturing went overseas.
