What kinda boat? What's the drive? Sometimes a boat will hop if the X is aggressive. Speed will take this out, but tabs are a great thing as they lengthen the running surface and can make the boat follow the sea, creating a better and less bumpy ride at slow speeds. Personally I would never go with anything automated, but either way tabs will be a good option for you!
