I haven't gotten that cynical about life or politics yet as to think the "system doesn't work anymore"......actually if you think about it a bit, the system is about to work as intended by the framers.......if this outrage doesn't peter out before election day! But, I guess I can understand your point of view, it seems one of Mass. most liberal congressmen....William Delahunt (D) former D.A.( I believe) has just decided that he might decide not to run this next term. It seems that Mr. Delahunt had something to do with the dismissal of the case of the Bishop lady ( who just alledgely shot, killed and wounded some university people in Al) when she accidently unloaded 3 shots into her brother some years ago. The case was dismissed, detectives were reassigned and the paper work has been lost. I think the current police chief there now is going to re-open the case. Now that, will make anybody cynical. For a lot of reasons I hope Delahunt and any others like him are booted out. The system works, sometimes slow but, it works.
