Yes, I tend to agree with you. The positive note is that Republicans made a much stronger showing than expected and Biden/Harris will not be able to declare a "mandate" from the American people. Turns out that the economy was the #1 issue on everyone's mind, not COVID, not the Green Deal, or the "soul" of the country. So while we may lose the election, Republicans are not dead in the water. Trump will demand a recount in the battle ground states and I expect this will go to the Supreme Court. We've got weeks of legal argument in front of us.
