I have a 2005 2575 rl/io Bennington with 4.3 I/O.  I think it is rated for 180 Hp.  I typically run at 3500 rpm at 20 mph(gps confirmed).  It seems to get horrible fuel economy and I thought about getting a fuel flow meter to try to seek the optimal speed/economy curve.  The issue is I only use 600 to 900 $ per year in fuel and the Floscan meter series 9000 cost upward 800$ with probe.  If I see a 10% improvement in economy and save 80$ per year, the payoff would be 10 years.  Not sure that it is worth it.  Any thought appreciated.

Good day to all
