You thinking parallels mine. I also believe the excessive muddiness is caused by a large construction site or maybe a logging operation. Last Saturday I did drive North from Arley looking at several locations on the lake and they were all muddy. Maybe I should have looked further. The problem is there, I know it is. I would have dismissed the muddy water in Brushy Creek and attributed it to the rain if the water at Duncan Bridge was also muddy. There is a lot talk about a strip mining operation opening up somewhere on Brushy Creek or one it tributaties. Maybe its operation has already started. The quickest way to find the source of the polution is a 15 minute arial survey.
