Ivan just does not change over time - never deals in facts. If we look at the plot of water level versus time, there might be an explanation of what's happening to muddy the water and cause for debris all over the lake.

From 6/15/09 through 9/18/09, there was a very smooth letdown of water level. The level changed from 510 to 503.5. During this period, rain fall rates were also high and variable

From Sept 18 through Dec. 26, this lake has been in turmoil. Rain causes the lake to go up at accelerated rates. What causes the level to go down at accelerated rates? APC is the sole controller of how fast the lake level drops in short periods of time.
