I assume you are talking about Perry.

I had high hopes for him ... but for some reason I don't think he connected with the american people, including me.

I like what he says about most issues and he has a strong record. Now don't get me wrong, if the choice was Oblamer or Perry ... it was be an easy vote for Perry.

It seems to be coming down to Newt or Romney ... I always felt Newt was the smartest of the bunch politically, but he may be too polarizing ... but I have been suprised by how the country has embraced him ... we will see after another month.

My gut still says the GOP nominee will be Romney. But Newt would kill Obama in a debate ...

I would love to see one of the debates between Obama and the GOP nominee to be one where they can ask each other questions and they are allowed two follow-up questions to the initial response. Will never happen ... but that would give the american people clear choices and understanding of each candidate.
