I think this was more media spin.  It feeds into the notion that people would rise up or the military would rise up to keep Trump from taking office.  We have a long history of peaceful tranisitions, so there was no reason to keep using this phrasology.  Flipping around the stations and the usual suspects are trying to find a way to cast a dark shadow on his speech.  Also making much of his failure to mention Hilary in the inaugural - why would he?  He acknowledged her at lunch. 

I also noted that the liberal stations continued to follow Obama, not just getting on the helo, but their arrival at Andrews, his speech at Andrews and them getting on the airplane.  when have you seen that before? 

My only other observation is that Trump doesn't seem to be enjoying the inaugural much.  Not much smiling going on.  At one point, right before he was sworn it, it appeared to me that it was starting to hit him that monentarily, he would be the President.  I'm sure it is a sobering thought.
