Poor cat. I'm glad they caught him. I'd like to see him cooked in oil and red pepper flakes.

I do have a animal/food tale from VA. Unfortunately, it's true. Some neighbors noticed that a family of Middle Eastern decent had a goat tied in the back yard. Further inquiries revealed that the people had purchased the goat with the intention of a goat-grill forthcoming that weekend. So, being of the humane persuasion, the neighbors took up a collection to buy the goat and save his life.....only to have the Middle Eastern family take the money and procure another goat for the food fest. At this point, the neighbors got the authorities involved. I never did hear the outcome.
