I'm glad to learn I am not the only one who has litty ditties from the past pop into my head.   Man has been armed since he figured out that he needed to defend himself against predators.  Nothing has changed, except liberals can not accept that violence and mental illness will not be resolved by taking guns out of the hands responsible citizens.  When you think about all of the responsible people who own guns in this country, literally millions, and the relatively few number of these incidents of mass shootings, it's a tiny number.  But people get upset about it, and they want to do something to stop it - so they talk about gun control, which is something that could be controlled, as opposed to the problem of violence in people's nature or mental illness which cannot be controlled.
