But that's not all of it. EVERYONE preaches doom and gloom --even Warren Buffet and Jack Welch.

I've always thought that one of the major things that Ronald Reagan did -- he was a powerful speaker and made people feel like things were going to be okay again. He made the country feel good about being Americans again (after the Iran hostage situation and the VietNam War) I think the power of oratory is often overlooked. I mean, look at MLK. He was powerful speaker. Look at George Bush after 9/11. Right now, people need to feel like the economy is going to be okay again.
