    Back in the days when a man's handshake secured a deal a man asked his wealthy friend for a loan of $ 500. Time passed and finally the wealthy man asked for repayment. Back then $ 500 was a lot of money.

   "What money," his "friend' said?

   After repeated request the man went to a lawyer.

   "Do you have any written agreement." the lawyer asked? "Well then send him a letter demanding he pay you the $ 1,000 dollars he owes you."

   His "friend" got mad and sent him a letter saying that he owed him only $ 500.
