I have been learning lately about how MetalFlake surfaces can be restored. I am presently redoing an older glastron and the shine came out great but the faded color doesn't go back to the original color. It is not really just shining the surface but removing the outer surface and bringing out a new finish from the same gel coat.
It may not remove the new boat bug but it may postpone it a couple of years.
Let me know if I can help.
