Lot of that going on these days.  I think the success of Sandy Springs in liberating their area from the malfeasance and corruption of the city of Atlanta and Fulton County has motivated other areas to do likewise.  The sad reality is that they are sick and tired of being the honey pot for the rest of Atlanta and want to control their own govt, have their own police and fire departments and stop sending millions downtown to be pissed away by incompetent and corrupt politicians that use the cash to buy votes and remain in power.
