As it turns out, the subsidies for health insurance under Obamacare expire at the end of the year and new premium notices will be going out in October...just in time for the midterms.  So by one analysis I read, a middle-class couple of 50 year-olds making $75,000 would see their annual premium go up by $8,300, not including if the insurer hikes the unsubsidized premium by 10% for inflation, that’s another $1,468.  That comes out to an additional cost of $814 per month...worst case.  Have not heard a word out of Congress about extending the subsidies but expect the Democrats to propose that in order to put Republicans in the hot seat.  I know I would if I were them.
