I don't know.  Maybe it's not a problem in Lake Martin.  At least that is what I am hoping.  

Regarding the run off of fertilizers and chemicals - I don't have anything like that applied to my lawn.  One reason is that I don't want it to run off in the lake, and another is that my dogs go out onto our lawn and I don't want them exposed to those kind of chemicals.  I know that they are advertised to be pet safe, but I don't want to take the chance.
