I was wishing that I had a long rod yesterday when the bass weren't cooperating, but there were plenty of bream just waiting for someone to drop a popper near them. A decent 5 or 6 weight will save some days, and will probably come in handy when the schoolies start chasing shad in the backs of the creeks, too. Something heavier would work with bass bugs and for chasing Golden Bonefish in the spring. OK, now I've convinced myself. I need to pick up at least two combos and start catching more fish.
