I have an 18' Maxum w/ a DIY-wake retrofit tower. I want to put speakers in w/ an amp. Amps need grounded. They come w/ a ground wire that looks to need grounded to the motor. Wouln't that cause a hum of motor noise in the speakers? I have heard about a 'ground plate' but cannot find one? Under the dash with the rest of the controls...there are circuitry boards but nothing that looks substantial like a 'ground plate' sounds. Would grounding it to a ground post on one of these boards be enough? Thanks!
