To really make effective savings, PERMANENTLY furlough (as in eliminate) ALL of Department of Energy (failed mission), ALL of Department of Education (failed mission), and 83% of Environmental Protection Agency (over regulation and exceeding authority). If the first two disappeared there would be not a ripple… but only a sigh of relief. EPA needs to be severely curtailed.
