It's almost football time again, and I'm looking forward to the second year of the Lake Martin Sweet Home Alabama college fantasy football league. I'm planning a preseason social on Sunday afternoon, July 24 (Aquapalooza weekend). Info has been sent to all members via the message system on our site. This will probably be a family "byob and a side" cookout at my house, but plans are still developing.
If you are interested in joining the league, let me know....this is a lot of fun and takes no real skill or football knowledge (it is mostly luck). That said, those who put in a little planning each week will usually do better (then there's Maverick, but thats another story). Our league is for guys and Gals, so don't be afraid lady's; Last year PC, ot, and Tax Lady all did great (ot was second overall and just missed winning it all because of her early draft of the unknown and untested Cam Newton). Joining is free and fun.....You will also have the opportunity to meet new friends, so what's holding you back??
