Back in 2003 my son called me from college. He wanted me to clear out a spot on the point in front of my house, so he and his girlfriend could watch the sunset from that point and he could "pop" the question. I did my job, and about mid afternoon I took the supplies (including engagement ring, blanket, wine, and other items personal to them). He wanted it to look like they were just going to watch the sunset. Turned out great, but I was a little worried about that ring sitting in the woods for that period of time.

They had wine, cheese and grapes....but no mater sandwich for that ocassion. She said Yes, so it must be a good spot.
