And those of us raised and always lived in the south just assume help will always arrive, or will be offered by us.  While it definitely is a Southern tradition, an interesting thing occurred in New Orleans during H. Katrina.  Well over a thousand people died during the floods in NOLA, primarily int the 9th Ward.  Those people died because they were the ghetto liberals and they sat on their butts waiting on gubment help to arrive—-which never did, till they were dead.  My point:  It’s the liberal idiot mindset that says, “Duh gubment will save me, feed me, etc.”  Interesting result:  When gubment help finally arrived they were all loaded on busses and sent to Houston, TX, and many wouldn’t come back to NOLA….they liked the welfare in Houston.  Houston residents didn’t like what the city gubment did to them , inviting the thousands of NOLA welfare to move to TX!
