If Hunter deducted the $45,000 as a business expense that would be tax evasion.

As to her owning taxes, it gets confusing. Was it income to her for work? Sounds like more of a friendship and he gave her gifts of money.

If he took her out to dinner would that be taxable income to her?

Trump's case was different. The free apartment was income as a result of the job and taxable to Weinberg.
