This article mentioned "Of the 9,800 homes with private docks" on Lanier. Does anyone know how many homes with private docks we have on Lake Martin?

My family grew up in the area that is now Lake Lanier and I never thought that I would see Lanier in the shape it is in now. Lanier has two rivers feeding the lake and I have been to the areas of the lake where those two rivers flow into Lanier. Each river has at least if not more than the flow of the Tallapoosa River. However, there are many more demands on Lanier's water inventory than on Martin's inventory. We have many friends and family that have homes on Lanier and some have expressed thoughts of coming to Lake Martin. I tell them that Martin is a terrible lake with mean people living there. I also tell them that we only have a place there because we are in fact "mean people" and like dirty water.
