A belated thank you to CAT BOAT and Froghog for the kind words spoke about me and Children's Harbor. Children's Harbor is truly a wonderful organization to be associated with.
If there is anything that we (Children's Harbor or myself) are able to do for you, please do not hesitate to ask.
Question for the Webmaster: I know that there are many readers out there who have heard of Children's Harbor but do not necessarily know who Children's Harbor is or are aware of the services Children's Harbor provides. I do not want to violate any forum rules, but I believe it could be beneficial for all to learn about Children's Harbor. Would it be permissable for me to write a entry describing the services that Children's Harbor provides?
Thanks to all,
Marty Krauel 256 397-4474

I will support any organization that serves children and offers to them opportunities for recreation, health, love and learning.

I don't think you need permission. I am sure you will have everyones support. You are a wonderful person for the organization, and I hope they realize that. Nice to meet you. If I had only went to the Harbor and took some kids for a ride at one of the fundraisers. ;) The bigger a childs smile (mine included) the happier is CAT.

I think we can get a day pass for the rocket if you are going to take those kids for a ride. That would be awesome.

I, too, have heard the name Children's Harbor but never really understood the organization. After the Catman mentioned it, I checked the website which I would like to share with each of you.

How about a boat ride weekend?..I know my wife and I would be more than honored to take some kids and there parents for a boat ride in our boat. Maybe we could plan it for next spring?
Just a thought.

i have volunteered for years [boat rides]; believe me, it is very rewarding--you are helping some kids & their families enjoy the lake & forget about their problems for a short while; it will certainly make you thankful for good health--1 kid i had this summer had not been out of her house for a year due to illness; if you want to volunteer, contact Jim Ray on the website;we often need 2-4 boats --some on weekends, some during the week
