I have never seen a post from anyone talking about Dixie BBQ in Kent. The food is great, the prices reasonable and people are great. We eat there quite often and have never had a bad meal.

I have a place in the Sandy Creek area. Where's Kent from the Dadeville area. I'll travel a long way for good BBQ and good people. Thanks for your help.

I have had poorer experiences. I could never get away from the heavy smoke. They have a few who hang out a little too long and occupy the tables and chain smoke.Even the staff and servers have one lit. In small places that ruins dining for me.
Its been two years since I last traded there because I was served left over pork. It had been refrigerated and then just reheated. I cannot stand that taste.It should not have been served.
Maybe orders for takeout would be OK. I think they do have a rather loyal following, mostly with the Eclectic, Kent, Red Hill people.To each his on.I don't mean to offend any smokers but the place is just too small for smoking inside.

The food is good but the smoking is appauling. Even the waitress smokes! When I asked my first time there if it's a smoking or non smoking the waitress answered in a hateful manor" It's both,smoking and a non smoking!" That's a joke in such a tiny place. I'll never go back because everybody there smokes,how inconsiderate of others. The guy next to me was smoking with his wife and kids. Nice....
