many consecutive nights in the teens? O have been in Alabama for about 35 years and I remember a few colder nights but never this many in a row. Hopefully we have one or two more nights and "normal" cold weather will return.

I feel like I am back in Nebraska! Well, almost. The high in Omaha yesterday was 1....BELOW ZERO.

On the brighter side, the prolonged cold spell should significantly reduce the insect population next spring and summer, especially fleas. Just hope the cold doesn't take any homo sapiens.

It has been many nights n a row way below freezing, and not very big highs during the day. For those that did not winterize boats, and even for some that did, it don't look good for spring. Light bulbs I don't believe is gonna cut it this time. We'll see come spring. It's cold outside. I don't remember this many either.

You left out the part where you say "and when you have problems with your boat because of the big chill, call CATHOUSE Marine in nearby Prattville". :>

This morning WSFA in Montgomery said it was 1982 since we have had this many consecutive nights with this low a termperature and this number of days below freezing. That is some 28 years. Thought this had to be a record period of weather
