Well since I am not as proficient at docking the 27' SRV 270 DA "The Event Horixon" as I want to be, and the poker run is coming up,next weekend. I got a Dingy. And since I have so much to do at the shop and  I am going to work this weekend, and not be able to train on the boat. I got one to pull behind the boat.

My thoughts since it will be crowded and fast pace the safe thing for me to do is, hold in place out side the stop, get a lackey to row in , get my card and row back and I will be in good shape and not nick my boat or any one others. If I were in the NC2 I could make others envious but not in this whale.

Now, If Mark Kosmak would give me some lessons like he said he would,
I may be able to back in to chucks with twin engines and not look like a idiot when I pump my swim platform off the sea wall.! LOL

Make sure to have a life vest with you and NO smoking or sharp objects in your pockets. Now if a certain somebody with a black bennington was truly a nice guy, he would follow you to each port of call and provide a taxi service into the marina.

He could keep up but he would be in the wake till he was sick.

Joking aside. I have a gearhead friend of mine coming to build my carbs in the morning and that shoul cure all my low RPM problems. that will in turn fix my slow speed docking head aches. He's kinda like Cat, a Hot Rod builder and Race car driver. I am very good with electronic engine management and diagnostics but suck at this old school Points and Carbs stuff.  Throw 2 and balance in the mix and Yikes,

I hate to not make a perfect docking or trailer loading.
I feel like every one is watching, and I blew chunks this past weekend becasue my engines kept dieing at low RPM.

Hey, call me about your idle issue. If I remember, you have Alpha drives. There is a shift interupt over on the exhaust manifold that you may have overlooked, or may not be working properly. Why don't you make Kosmac drive the boat for you?

Dinghies usually range in length from about 6 to 20 feet (2 to 6 m). Larger auxiliary vessels are generally called tenders, pinnaces or lifeboats. Folding and take-down multi-piece (nesting) dinghies are used where space is limited. Some newer dinghies have much greater buoyancy, giving them more carrying capacity than older dinghies of the same size.
