Hopefully we will have a relatively clean election,  and hopefully we will restore a balance of power and sense of sanity to our Government.

After the nastiness of this election season, I fear no matter who gets in we're just in for more gridlock.  I heard no solutions from anyone -- just fingerpointing and name calling on both sides.  In the Alabama elections, I haven't heard one candidate who said, "this is what I believe in and these are my solutions".  If I hear the term a "true conservative" come out of one more candidate's mouth, I think I will scream.  Thank God the election is today.

The only one who said anything that gave me hope was Bobby Bright -- he said he would represent the views and concerns of his constituents -- and isn't that what our elected official are supposed to do?

I will be glad to be through with the ads that sound like a 3rd grade playground fight. I suggest getting all the pols together and organizing a pseudo-mud-wrestling match – we just use quicksand instead.

David Grimes of Montgomery.  Running for a state representative i think.  Don't know who he is running against because he never once mentioned his opponent, just what he stands for and what he will do if elected.

Interesting, I don't think I ever saw a political ad for him.
I'm disappointed to see that the news is projecting a win for Martha Robey over Bobby Bright.  Of course, that is from exit polls and not from any of the precincts reporting.  The polls are open for another half hour.

I know Bobby and Lynn but didn't vote for him only because of his party affiliation.  He is about as conservative as a Dem can be and I really wish he would switch.
