Wife wanted try Kowaliga, so who am I to argue? They were moderately understaffed for the crowd. Lots of empty tables but it was obvious that there simply were not enough servers to tend them all. That's OK, in a way, because a casual 10 or 15 minutes at the bar beats 10 - 15 minutes at a table wondering where the he!! the server is. Was a bit of an eye opener when we got the bill for two regular sized well-quality margaritas - $17 plus tax and tip. Server was attentive and food came within a reasonable time considering they were really busy. Fried chicken livers were OK to good, but don't hold a candle to Church's Chicken livers....when they have them. We both had the catfish filets and the catfish was really good. The cole slaw was tasteless and the baked potato had a consistency unlike any I had ever encountered. Not necessarly bad, just weird. The atmosphere is a bit looser than Sinclairs, but has a long way to go to achieve that of the original Cecils on the Lake. Probably a sign of the times. Folks just seem more self-centered these days. Someone said they increased boat parking....not tonight, at least in front of the place. Same number of slips and folks were waiting in line to park. Full house. We will go back, but won't be stopping in for a casual drink. The ones at our cabin are much better and one he!! of a lot cheaper. For Shay: I was angling hard to go to Harbor Docks tonight, even in spite of the fact that I was unaware of your forum member discount. Mama spoke and Daddy said yes Ma'am (she recently had a heart-related event and deserves a little extra consideration). Well get to your place soon.

Don't ask for one baked that day because it was baked at 3:30 and held for you until 7PM

They really don't yet have the baked potatoes under control. In three trips, 3 over done ,dried out, baked taters. But they'll eventually get it. At least the fried catfish is moist and tasty.

Rob McDaniel is going to lose a few points and will have to return to culinary school and retake the baked potato exam.
