Female dog that unfortunately did not survive for whatever reason.  She had a red collar and tag with the name Bandit on the tag.   Looked to be a part pit bull or boxer? probably around 30 pounds.  If it were my dog lost I would want to know what happened to her.  Hate to give this bad news but hope someone will reply and I will provide more details.  I suspect the dog may have been missing for 3-4 weeks.

My dog Bandit is missing since july 17th. My dog is a male boston terrier. Hes black and white. 14 years old and deaf. My phone number is also on his tag. Please confirm this was not him.

Not your dog.  This dog was found on the shore on 17 July and it was very clear this dog had been dead for a week or more.  It was 100% definitely female and medium sized 30-35 pounds.  Collar was red.  I did not want to handle the dog for safety reasons but noticed kids picking up the collar a week later.  I advised the kids to wash very thoroughly.  This dog was NOT a terrier.

i just walked down to where the kids placed the collar and took a picture of it.  i did not approach the dog when it washed ashore for reasons that should not be put into words so i am not 100% positive it was a female.  But i just looked up Boston terrier on the web and this dog seems to fit the description with the exception of the questionable sex.  i just too a photo of the dog tag.  it looks like a thick black plastic dog tag with the name Bandit on it.  Please provide your phone number and i will call you.  The remains are still on the shore.  i am sure this is heart wrenching for you but as a dog lover who lost our collie after 16 years we have hearts as big as a house.

Please provide your phone # quick as we are departing the house shortly.

We lost a 16 year old, blind and deaf, long haired dachshund a few years ago; it's tough. Wife let her out about 4:30 AM where we used to live and she never came back. Looked for her for a week with no luck, lived on a peninsula so she couldn't have gone far. Only theory was she fell into street drainage culvert and died. They get old and weak just like we do.
