Crappy Bed

If I wanted to establish an area to entice crappy bream and other fish to hang around what would I do?  Many years ago I put some Christmas trees under my pier, and that did some good, but they are stripped now.  I hope to replenish them but thought something out farther in the water would be better

I would try placing tree top or limbs at various depths , I like using hardwood.

I could get some hardwood limbs, but how do you keep them where you want 'em?

I use old electrical wire and cinder blocks, usually one 12 " block will hold down a pretty good size top or limb.
