Is there anyone interested in getting together on a regular basis and playing some bluegrass, folk, and country music?  I am on the Dadeville side of Lake Martin (near Chucks Marina). I've been playing at Old Alabama Town every second and fourth Saturday's for years but I've acquired a cabin on the lake and spend most of my weekends there now. So if anyone knows of folks that get together and play could you please introduce me to them. If not, do you know anyone who wants to start getting together on a regular basis and playing?

Get in touch with Clanton's Store and Bait Shop on Hwy 280 just outside of Dadeville as you're heading to Alex City. Mr Clanton has a Sat evening get together at least two times a month and new folks are more than welcome. I'm sorry, but I do not have the store phone number.

In the Key of A

Well I wonder how the old folks are at home

I wonder if they'll miss me when I'm gome

I wonder if they'll pray for their boy who went away

And left his Mom and Dad all alone

You can hear the cattle lowing in the lane

You can see the fields of  BLUEGRASS where I roamed

You can almost hear them cry as they kissed their boy good bye

I wonder how the old folks are at home

(Break)
