“Our founding fathers inserted checks and balances into the Constitution. These checks kept one branch of government from exerting unfettered control over the citizens and the nation. YOUR Congress… MY Congress… just abdicated at least three of those checks… congressional establishment of immigration laws, congressional approval of trade deals, and congressional approval of foreign treaties and agreements… to the executive branch. All of this was done with the passage of a bill cloaked in secrecy… hidden from the eyes of “We the People.”
My “representative” Mike Rogers (R-AL, 3rd District) voted in favor of this “Fast Track Authority.” Mike Rogers just lost my vote for being stupid (probably he was “bought”). This vote to cede constitutional authority without amendment is probably illegal. I hope it goes to the Supreme Court.
Ah… but, then the Supreme Court is also progressively abdicating its responsibility to uphold the Constitution.”

The state delegation was virtually split on TAA.
Reps. Bradley Byrne, R-Fairhope, Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, Martha Roby, R-Montgomery, and Gary Palmer, R-Hoover, voted against the bill. They were among 158 Republicans and 144 Democrats who voted "no."
Three House members from Alabama voted for the bill, including Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Birmingham, who was just one of 40 Democrats who joined 86 Republicans in voting "yes." The others were Reps. Robert Aderholt, R-Haleyville and Mike Rogers, R-Sacks
I'm sure rogers didn't like the language I just sent him. F'in traitor.
