I think it was OSMS that said it but LTL must be the Mayor...nothing else explains this guy. I think Bamaonthelake may be a good candidate for local politics since he now lives there. A few things you will have to do first to garner the votes of the fine locals like LTL:
1. Immediately buy a trailer...do not remove tires
2. Grow a beard and start dipping...smoking Marlboro reds will do just fine as well
3. Start drinking Old Milwaukee and be sure to throw said cans along the road. Better yet, just toss em thru your sliding glass window in the pickup so they can then blow out on the highway.
4. Build a fine red wood deck off the back of the trailer...deposit more cans for ambiance
5. Never again sell a vehicle...yard decoration in Tallapoosa county
6. If you do not already beat your wife (common law is a must) begin doing so immediately..particularly after Dale Earnhardt junior is knocked out of a race (really beat her if it was Jeff Gordon who wins) or another painful crimson tide loss.
7. Buy six dogs of random origin...do NOT bother with spaying or neutering
8. Cover trailer windows with sheets and towels...do not match anything
9. Never...and I repeat never...wear a shirt or belt outside the home while doing any type of outside work (such as maintenance on one of the automobile decorations) exceptions made in winter where a nice flannel plaid will suffice...
10. Learn to cook all varieties of "Hamburger Helper" and serve nightly
Just a few tips for you Bamaonthelake...follow this advice and you are well on your way. Mix in some time down at city hall poking fun at those "rich b@ast@rds from Atlanta " who are buying up all the lake property and you are a cinch. Tell LTL I said Hi!

It is not funny and shows exactly what kind of person you are. You have shown your contempt for the 'locals' several times already. I don't look down on ANYONE. I don't care how they live, where they live, what they live in, who they live with or how they choose to landscape. You see I try to carry christian values and morals with me. Do not judge lest you be judged yourself; He who is without sin....; you know the things you were taught in Sunday School.

Oh come on LTL...it was a little funny...come on just a little wasn't it? I will tell you what is not funny ... Its small time two bit hicks running local municipalities with reckless disregard for the health of people who live on or near the lake. What is not funny is a near decade of mismanagement of the sewer system. What is not funny is considering building an ethanol plant to further inundate an already inadequate infrastructure. What is not funny is the environmental "raping" of our lake by "locals" who, in the absense of zoning laws treat the shoreline like the wild west destroying every living thing in sight to create the highest density possible...lots of things are "not funny"...my post, well that was funny...

Hmmm... seems to me most if not all the developers that are raping the lake are not locals but out of town developers. The locals all live in double wides. Remember? How can they afford to create all the developement? Heck, according to you, we aint even smart enough to know how to dispose of dead cars.
Write articles, send emails, call tv stations, do whatever you want. I will bet right now on the outcome.
But for now it is time for fall back position #1

Uh oh, sounds like the Sat night cookout at Hero's new lake house is going to be tense. Come on guys, we all care about the lake, whether we live there full time or not. Those of us that do not work and live there full time still come and support the community and want the best for that area.
