Bruce upgraded last night.
Issues email Bruce as I have not seen any as of yet

Capture error message and email to Bruce and tell him EXCATLY what you are doing with regards to hitting which links etc in the order you are doing it and he should be able to correct.
As it is nothappening to me, so I cannot email Bruce.

One may be intentional. I have a permlink on my task bar that takes me straight to the general forums page. It is not working and I thought he may have disabled that since it bypasses the main page and reduces 'hits' which is what sets his ad rates. No biggy if he did, I wouldn't blame him. I was a little shocked to see 48k posts though. I remember when it hit 1000. I started posting here somewhere around 5-6 hundred. The forum has really gone thru some changes since then.

I have a link at work that goes straight to the forum and it did not work today either. I had to go to lakemartin.com to get to the forum and everything worked fine. Rhonda

From the error message I think he disabled that function. Like I said, I don't blame him. It means revenue to him to send us thru the .com
As I have stated over and over, I am a capitalist. This is his income, a small part of it I'm sure but still income. I only did it out of laziness. Bruce is a great guy and does us a favor by having this forum. I feel certain the forum has caused him more headaches than income thru the years. And yes, I know that I have been one of those headaches from time to time, but I am also his 'oldest' poster.
I am a nice guy with vast knowledge of the lake and the waterways of the area. I have enjoyed sharing that knowledge thru the years, but when he who shall remain nameless, starts calling me a pedophile, attacking my character in general, and threatening what he is wrongly convinced is my job a line is crossed, because that is somebodies job. And when phone calls get made to employers over anonymous postings on the net, some poor sap could loose his job for something that he had nothing to do with.
I made my apologies and turned over a new leaf, and then still got attacked again and fell into old ways of thinking for a while. But I will not let he who shall remain nameless taunt me into any more of his juvenile behavior. I think the real deal came to light that night.

I jsut got caught up in it. I regretted even hitting the send button as soon as I did it. It was something else going on that caused it. Didn't mean to dump on you. Wont happen again. I knew you weren't criticizing Bruce, like I said, something totally unrealated caused that little flare up. The old kick the dog syndrome again.
