I have not posted for a long while due to the bickering among so many and family health problems. However, this post is for a special request. There was some reference to disabled children in a recent post. I ask you all, please don't do that. My daughter passed away at the age of 20 after being on total breathing machines since the age of 9. You can imagine how much this reference has brought back some very sad memories and it is extremely painful. I beg you all, please don't do this. Also, let us all stop this bickering as life is too short.

I have a severly disabled 10 year old daughter. She is the main reason we bought a lake home on Martin. She loves boating and everything about the water. Keep bickering, that's fine. Keep our special needs children out of it.
By the way... We used to enjoy the forum and info. regarding the dives, boat ramp issues, places to see, etc., but now the forum is garbage. I remember reading this kind of junk in 6th grade! I'd rather not go back.

Kingfish, sorry for your hardship and loss. Your child was lucky to have you, as I am sure you took very good care of her. I thank the lord for two beautiful children, and will be there for them always.

I apologize to you and any others that were offended by my joke. It does however pale in comparison to the things that have been repeatedly said about me and my family. Of course this NEVER comes with any outrage from the 'members'. You see, most like to practice 'selective outrage'. Any insult thrown at LTL is fine, he DESERVES it. I don't recall ever recieving an apology for the things said about me and my family, so until then, don't expect a lot of sympathy from me if what I say is insulting. Best advice I can give you is stay away. I am sure that will make Bruce and his advertisers much happier. Some of the higher and mightier LOVE to sit back and hurl insults and threats at me while claiming to be so superior in all aspects of life, but they never consider the 'rule of unintended consequences',

Get a grip and give it up. I love those heart felt apologies that come with a "however." For the record, I too, was offended by your references to the handicapped. It appears the black helicopters are circling.

I don't know how you live with yourself.
You apoligize and then turn around and completely discount your own apology. What did the original poster of this most tragic story ever do to you? I just don't get it.
This was as serious and heartfelt a request as can be made and you show no remorse for your words. Why?
What has life done to you to prevent you from having any REAL sympathy for your fellow human being?
