We might go. Dewey's ramp is about the only operable one right now. If you were able to get in at Wetumpka, getting around the Parker Island area could pose a problem. If we don't take the boat out, probably we'll hang at Harry's for a beer or 2.

Dang that might work.....lol, we need to do something to that jon boat, I'm thinkin take it to cathouse for a small block chevy upgrade, what's the beam on that thing,lol,lol.

I think Wetumpka ramp is not a good idea. Earlier this week, a guy lost his truck, trailer and boat. They are talking about closing the ramp pending Corps of Engineers decision. They now have warning cones out on the ramp.

We have been launching at Dewey's in Millbrook, now called One More, for the past month and the ramp fine as is the river water level. You can run with no problems from a bit north of Cooters to the spillway close to Wetumpka. The water is down, we have more beach on the sandbar, but water levels are fine for boating.

Sorry to say not this weekend....worked Saturday....today is work around the house day, hope we get another weekend like this before xmas (weather wise) the boat and lake (or river) is calling my name....peace

Did any one go to the river with you sunday?....Was going to go but heard the wetumpka ramp was a no go....maybe we will get another good weekend soon.
