Almost seven years ago I sat, as did millions of other Americans, and
watched as our government underwent a peaceful transition of power.
At first, I felt a swell of pride and patriotism as I watched George W. Bush
take his oath of office. However, all that pride quickly vanished as I later
watched the Clintons board Air Force One for the last time.
I saw 21 Marines, in full dress uniform with rifles, fire a 21-gun salute to
the outgoing President and first lady. It was then that I realized how far
America's military had deteriorated under the Clinton administration.
Every last one of them missed.

Plz relate in detail your rationale that the US military had deteriorated before that January 2001 day. What is the standard you're using for deterioration? You made the statement. So back it up!

Get a life. It is called a JOKE. I'll be dammed if I am going to start fact checking JOKES.
You should stick the the water issues. You seem to posses a wealth of knowledge in that arena and post good, timely, and apparently accurate info in regards to the water level. Stick to that. Leave the politcal threads alone, you aren't cut our for it apparently. Leave those to us 'profesional puddin stirrrers'.
