Is Niffers open for lunch? Isn't Niffers a few hundred yards from Blue Creek? I will be in the area for winterizations on Thursday, and was wondering if any of the forum members may be in the area and could meet for lunch? I dont' get up to the lake much during the winter. Just a thought. Any ideas are appreciated.

You are correct, it is right at Blue Creek Marina, but if you want a really good lunch go acrosse the bridge in the other direction to Oscars. Much better food. I would be glad to meet you at either place but can't get ther till about 1pm.

OK, Oscars it is. I have no way of setting an exact time. I figure 12-1pm range. You never know what you may or may not run into winterizing. I'll try to leave the shop pretty early and head to Dadeville area and get started.

Head just called, he is in route from Jackson Al. to spend the night at the lake and join us. Note, Thirdenlong and Dirtdiva. We'll be at your house BEFORE lunch. After lunch we will be headed back, unless someone else needs service. Lookin' foreward to the trip. This oughta be fun!

Dirtdiva...<<< Not what I expected!!! : ) Drop dead gorgeous. Funny how the mind paints a picture..... Was a great meeting with all of you. Nice day, and enjoyed everything. Head payed the bill. I have a feeling I'll pay in the long run.

WOW! We had such a nice lunch, with 3 exceptions: 1) the friggin iron bar sticking out of the railroad tie that ate my bumper 2) the rest of you guys (McCain supporters) missed it 3) it was too short!

Gee, guys. Thanks for the compliments! It was an absolute blast meeting everyone today! We gotta do it again! Had a great time meeting everyone. We should try to get together again soon. Let Charolene and I finish our house and yard and we will have a bon fire on the lake shore. Sorry Lakeman,Hadenuff and Shirt did not come to meet everyone. Maybe next time.
