With 21 years as a "Fly boy" (Never did fly), and 23 years since as a civi, I can honestly say I had more fun as the "Fly Boy".

I don't know that there are enough words to thank all living for their dedication to God and Country. I say my prayers for those who have lost a loved one and for those who have a loved one serving this country of ours. Today I took the girls to the Liberty Park Veterans Memorial off 459 in Hoover, AL. If you have not visited, it is worth the trip. Don't pass it by if you are headed toward Atlanta on 459 without stopping. Once you see the art and the wall, you can do nothing but stand there and shed a little tear, cry and say a prayer for this country of ours and the state that we are in, where we have been and where we must go to survive.
