Does anyone know if the lake will go back to the level it was before the rains last week? Just how far will they pull it back down? Thanks for any information.

Graypa,

Check out the Smith Lake water level button on this web site. You can look at accumulated water level measurements for the previous several years. This will give you a basis for where typical water levels may be for any given time of the year. Hope this helps?

Lake level is a mystery at best. Winter Full Pool is normally 480'. Where it is right now. Normal over decades.
The 2007 drought caught everybody short, just like the economy, and we suffered for it.
The pending decision on a variance for water level will raise the level starting in February rather than March, I think?? Too much info from too many places.
Repair your seawall/floating dock/boat ramp/swim area now.
Just my opinion.
