Sorry, for the empty prior post.

I am a long time reader of this forum and an occasional poster. I can not thank you guys & gals enough for the great information passed around.

I wanted to confirm and pass along a helpful tip. This past weekend my inboard/outboard boat was taking on water at a slow rate. We took it to the marina to have it check out and were discouraged to find out that the repair, although still not sure what the cause was, could cost $1,000+ to fix, in addition to labor. I could only imagine how long the down time & cost would be to have it repaired at the marina.

This is when I decided to take the forums advice and call Steve at CAT HOUSE. He has been super responsive in every way. My boat has not been repaired yet, but I know that he will make sure that it is done correctly and pricing will be fair. The other huge factor is turn around time will be quick.

So, the next time you are on the lake and you have a situation with your boat & you think it is just more convenient to let the local marina fix it.....think about CATHOUSE MARINE. I do not think you will be disappointed. By the way, your boat does not have to run 100 plus mph for them to work on it!!!

Thanks again LM forum.

Was it the boot? My old boat did that once when we were camping out. Discovered the boot was split and only took on water when I raised the motor when beached. As long as the motor was down, did not leak. Have a good one.

I only had a moment yesterday evening to run it down to the ramp and check it out. It appears to be leaking at the Y-Pipe. We are gone for the rest of the week (leaving in a few minutes) but I'll let you know for sure when I get back. After installing MAV's thermostat upside down I am thinking maybe I should retire now.... :0
